- Darpa Urban Challenge
在刚刚结束的Darpa Urban Challenge中，来自CMU, Pittsburgh的Tartan Racing队得到了冠军，紧接着是Stanford队和Victor Tango队。Darpa Urban Challenge是由美国国防高级研究计划局，Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)组织的一项无人驾驶汽车比赛，奖金2,000,000美元。去年，Darpa Grand Challenge结束了野外无人驾驶汽车比赛，Stanford队得了冠军。今年的Darpa Urban Challenge则是在城市街道中进行的，技术难度比去年更高。个人认为，比赛无比精彩，他们的综合技术含量可谓世界第一。希望中国的大学生未来也能攻克此类无人驾驶难题。
